Course Description

August de Oliveira, the 3D Printing Master shares his incredible knowledge on Meshmixer, 3D Printer Technology, Usage and ExoCAD.

If you have been 3D printing and using Meshmixer you will know the limitations of this free software. In this fun, 2 day hands on course you will learn the ins and outs of 3D printing using ExoCAD. You don’t have to own or buy ExoCAD to benefit from this class. If you don’t own it you can buy a ticket that includes a teaching licence that is yours to keep at home too.

Temporaries

A temporary bridge can be printed in under an hour with most printers. We will be covering the standard ExoCAD C & B module to design and print a 3 unit temporary bridge.

Model Builder

The first half of day 1 will concentrate on using ExoCAD’s Model Builder module printing with either the Form2 or moonray printers. We will start the hollow and solid models for pressure forming and covering different ways of getting individual dies. Both virtual and physical articulators will also be covered.

Dentures and Flippers

Using NextDent’s Denture Base and C & B resins, students will design, print and fabricate  dentures and flippers either using traditional ExoCAD or the ExoCAD Denture Model.

Implants

In this course we will cover how to print implant analogue models that use reusable implant analogues as well as how to 3D print a temporary hybrid.

Night Guards

Making Night Guards in the office is a high ROI procedure! In this course we will cover making a hard/soft plane split using a pressure former and a Michigan appliance in ExoCAD’s bite splint module.
