Dr Amish Raichura

Dr Amish Raichura

Amish graduated with honours from Guys King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2008. In his time there, he received an Oral Biology presentation award and certificates of excellence in Conservative Dentistry and Dental Radiography. Soon after graduating, he acquired the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons (England). He now works primarily in private practice in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. From an early stage in his career, he developed an interest in dental implants. He was taught and mentored in the UK and Germany by some of the most prestigious implantologists from around the world. He has been placing and restoring dental implants for many years and formalised his training by acquiring the coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). He has mentored dentists embarking on the surgical and restorative aspects of dental implant placement by providing one to one teaching and the opportunity to shadow him during treatments in general practice.
He also has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and has completed a one year Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He combined his passion for dentistry with his devotion to teaching by becoming a Foundation Dentist (FD) Trainer, a position he held until 2017. He also lectured at FD study days during this time. To assist him with his teaching, he has completed a one year Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education.
